A change to your household?

Has a member of your household recently moved out of your property? Or perhaps you've welcomed a new addition into your home? This quick and easy to follow guide will show you how to update your occupancy details on House Exchange!

Remember... You should let your landlord know before anyone moves in and you will need your landlords permission if you want to add someone to your tenancy agreement.

Step 1

From the House Exchange dashboard, click on the 'Account Details' button.

Step 2

Select the 'Occupancy' tab.

Here, you can update the details of your current household.

Remember that in terms of a mutual exchange, an adult is classed as someone 16 years old, or over.

Don't forget to tick the box confirming the amount of residents living in your property!

Step 3

Once done, click the 'Update Occupancy' button. A message notification will then pop up saying 'Success: Your new occupancy information has been saved.'

Your occupancy details on House Exchange have now been updated!

Top tip!

If your property address has changed, you will need to close your account and re-register on House Exchange. If you're unsure of how to do this, please get in touch with us at houseexchangehelp@clarionhg.com
