How To Build A Three Way Swap Back
Let's get multi-swapping!
A direct swap not suitable? Building a simple Three Way Multi-Swap on House Exchange has never been easier! This guide will detail every step to help you on your path to a successful mutual exchange.
Step 1
Once logged in to your House Exchange account, click the ‘My Matches’ button located on the House Exchange dashboard.
Step 2
Scroll to your list of indirect, or 'Multi Swap' Matches. These can be found under 'The following adverts are not Direct Matches, but follow your search criteria as multi swap matches'.
Step 3
Find a home that you like the look of and open it's full property advert by clicking on it's preview image.
Step 4
Once you've decided that you'd like to find a 3 way swap using a certain property, click the 'Add to Favourites' button in the advert's bottom right corner.
Step 5
Click the 'Add multi-swap' button.
A box will now appear titled 'Create a new multi-swap'.
From here, you can give your multi-swap a name for easy reference.
The 'Swap Type' will automatically select a 'Three-way swap' option first. Once completed, click on the 'Create multi-swap' button.
Please note! Our platform will then automatically carry out a search to find all properties that are matches between you and your target home.
Step 6
Now look for a property that meets the requirements of the user currently living at the home of your choice. To help you do this, check out the 'Looking for' section of their property advert.
Step 7
Once you've found a property that looks like it fits the criteria of the property that you'd like to move into, click on the 'Select this property' button.
You have now created a 3 way Multi Swap chain!
Step 8
You can now get in touch to tell the other households about this chain to see if they would be interested. To do this, click on the button 'Send a message' on each property advert in the chain.
Step 9
If you find that one of the parties involved in your chain is not interested, simply click the 'Remove property' button. You can then search for a replacement to once again complete your Three Way Multi Swap chain.
Step 10
When you have completed a multi-swap and each household has agreed to swap, you will each need to get in touch with your landlord to begin the mutual exchange process.
